How to apply
The ECNP Fellowship award is open to all individuals residing in Europe (including Russia, Turkey and Israel). To qualify for an award, the applicant must:
- Be an MD or PhD.
- Not have reached 40 years of age at the start of the congress.
- Be engaged full-time in clinical or basic research, training or teaching activities in the field of neuropsychopharmacology and closely related disciplines.
- Submit a paper for poster presentation at the current ECNP Congress. This paper should be accepted for presentation and publication.
- By acceptance of the award, agree that the poster is published on the ECNP website, provided the poster is approved for publication by a scientific jury. The awardee will provide ECNP with an electronic copy of the poster.

In addition, the following items have to be sent to the ECNP Office by e-mail:
- A curriculum vitae including a list of publications and the 2-3 most important papers*
- A scanned copy of their passport or another form of photo identification including date of birth
- A summary (500 words) of current work also stating the reason for application
- A copy of the submitted paper for poster presentation
* Papers not written in English should, at the very least, be accompanied by an English abstract.
Only complete applications will be considered.
It is no longer possible to apply for the ECNP Fellowship Award.

Receipt of your application will be confirmed by the ECNP Office by e-mail within two weeks. If you have not received a confirmation within this period, please notify the ECNP Office immediately at +31 30 253 8567.
Applicants will be informed about the decision of the ECNP Award Committee before 1 July 2012.
There can be no correspondence about the outcome.
