Obligations awardee
Within three months after the last day of the project, the successful awardee must submit:
- Two written reports, one for evaluation by the jury and one which can be included in the newsletter ECNP Matters (subject to the approval of editorial committee). The basis of these should be the results of the research, the relation of these to the original application, and an assessment of how the experience has enhanced the awardee’s personal and professional development.
- A completed questionnaire appraising the procedures regarding the grant and of the centre visited.
The awardee should ensure that, if the research conducted with support of the ECNP Research Grant for Young Scientists results in a publication, the following will be mentioned:
“Supported by an ECNP Research Grant for Young Scientists”
A copy of the publication should be sent to the ECNP Office for reference.
Obligations home institute/department
The European home institute/department should:
- Be situated in a European country (including Russia, Turkey and Israel).
- Have an ECNP member as supervisor of the applicant who is actively engaged in neuropsychopharmacology and/or closely related disciplines.
- Provide the name of the contact within the management of the institute/department responsible for the execution and implementation of the grant procedure, including the handling of the grant’s funds once these have been transferred by ECNP to the home institute.
- Provide a signed statement guaranteeing that the applicant will be able to return to the same function.
- Limit possible overhead costs to 20%.
- Submit a final account on main lines within 3 months after the last day of the project.
Obligations host institute/department
The European host institute/department should:
- Be situated in a European country (including Russia, Turkey and Israel).
- Have an ECNP member as supervisor of the applicant who is actively engaged in neuropsychopharmacology and/or closely related disciplines.
- Be responsible that adequate support regarding the conditions of work and stay will be provided.
- Agree that the results of the research involving the recipient of the ECNP Research Grant for Young Scientists will be made freely available in the scientific literature and cannot be kept undisclosed, or its disclosure delayed, for non-scientific reasons.
