Regional Meetings

The ECNP Regional Meeting takes place every two years and is designed especially to stimulate the exchange of clinical and basic scientific information and co-ordinate and promote scientific activities and standards between European countries.

By convention, it is held in regions of Europe where researchers and practitioners have less opportunity to attend the ECNP Congress, though registration is unrestricted. The meetings typically attract around 500 research scientists, clinicians and medical professionals.

Outstanding poster presentations are selected for publication in European Neuropsychopharmacology.

The two most outstanding posters by scientists from the host country receive an ECNP Regional Poster Award, which comes with free registration at the succeeding ECNP Congress and EUR 500 travel subsidy.
