The NbN app now with 75,000 users worldwide
The Neuroscience-based Nomenclature project began as an ECNP-led collaborative effort to provide a nomenclature for psychiatric medicines that is based upon, not on indication, but the latest scientific knowledge of how those medicines work in the brain. By developing a terminology that better illustrates the rationale for selecting a specific psychotropic agent, the NbN helps clinicians make better choices about the next ‘pharmacological step’ for patients, decrease stigma and enhance adherence. The results have been remarkable.
Released as an app, covering 130 medications, the NbN has just celebrated its 75,000th download worldwide, and is rapidly becoming a benchmark in the field. Our congratulations to the NbN team!
If you haven’t downloaded your free version, you can do so here.
