Meet the keynote speaker
Ray Dolan, United Kingdom has been confirmed as our keynote speaker for the 34th ECNP Congress, 2-5 October 2021!
Ray Dolan is Mary Kinross Professor of Neuropsychiatry and Director of the Max Planck-UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry and Ageing. Fellow of the Royal Society and co-recipient of the 2017 Brain Prize, he has been ranked by Semantic Scholar as the second-most influential neuroscientist in the modern world.
His research interests include the neural mechanisms of reward, learning and decision making, and how impairment in these relate to neuropsychiatric disorders.
He will present the lecture entitled 'How we build internal models of the world'.

2020 highlights of ECNP TWGs
Great news!
The ECNP Pharmacogenomics and Transcriptomics Thematic Working Group (TWG), chaired by Bernhard Baune, has been awarded an ERA PerMed grant called PROMPT “Toward PrecisiOn Medicine for the Prediction of Treatment response in major depressive disorder through stratification of combined clinical and -omics signatures”.
Additional congratulations on the publication of the group’s book Personalised Psychiatry on biliogical psychiatry with an emphasis on genomics and transcriptomics.

AIMS-2-TRIALS: latest news
AIMS-2-TRIALS is a landmark European research initiative that explores the biology of autism – how it develops across the lifespan, and how this varies in different people – to identify biological markers, to tailor treatments and to develop new medicines.

Registration for the 2021 Brain Prize Meeting open
The 2021 Brain Prize meeting, ‘Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Mechanisms and pathways to treatment’ will be held virtually on 1-4 March 2021.
Confirmed speakers include leaders from across the fields of epigenetics, regulation of gene expression, neuronal and circuit dysfunction, diagnosis, and pathways to treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
