Call for nominations
ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award
The ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award recognises exceptional research achievements in applied and translational neuroscience.
The award is granted each year, alternating between basic science and clinical research. The 2017 award will be in basic science research.
The award winner receives a prize of EUR 10,000, a commemorative statuette and certificate, and is invited to present a plenary lecture at the upcoming ECNP Congress. In addition, the award winner is invited to submit a review article for publication in European Neuropsychopharmacology.
The deadline for nominations is 15 January. For more details, please visit the ECNP website.

New approaches to psychiatric drug development
ECNP invites you to attend our upcoming innovation meeting on 'New approaches to psychiatric drug development', to be held on 12-13 March 2017, in Nice, France.
This meeting will bring neuroscientists, clinicians, industry and regulators together to bridge the translational gaps between novel targets, CNS functions and clinical phenomena.

BBSRC-ECNP school on research reproducibility
ECNP and the British Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) are offering a five-day residential course on advanced methods for reproducible science, to be held from 7-12 April 2017 at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park, United Kingdom.
ECNP is sponsoring ten places for European applicants.
The course is tailored for early-career researchers and intended to raise awareness of the problem of low reproducibility across many scientific disciplines, and various methods that can be used to address this problem.

ECNP in Brazil
This November ECNP participated for the first time in the 34th Brazilian Congress of Psychiatry in São Paulo with an exhibition booth. Many people visited the stand for a chat, questions about membership or ECNP activities.
During the meeting, there was a special promotion to win free registration to the 30th ECNP Congress in Paris, 2-5 September 2017.
