Experimental Medicine

The aims of the Experimental Medicine Targeted Network Meeting are threefold. The first to assess the emerging data on the genetic risks for mental disorders and the implications they have for patient stratification in experimental medicine. The second is to determine the role of experimental medicine in drug discovery in the short and medium term and how the power of new technologies can be brought to bear on clinical and preclinical translational strategies. Finally, the meeting will address the training needs for junior scientists in both academia and industry that wish to have a career in experimental medicine.
