ECNP School of Old Age Neuropsychopharmacology

The ECNP School of Old Age Neuropsychopharmacology offered a select number of participants a week-long programme of intensive training in all aspects of old age neuropsychopharmacology. The aim was to encourage and disseminate excellence in clinical neurobiology and neuropsychopharmacology among psychiatrists who treat older people. The second edition of this school was held in Venice, Italy from 19 to 24 April 2015.  

Participants were nominated by ECNP Ambassadors or members of the ECNP Advisory Board of National Societies, with two to three potential candidates per country, on the basis of their career potential. About 50 junior psychiatrists were accepted and their travel and accommodation costs were substantially covered by ECNP.
