Report
The ECNP Seminar took place between 22-24 November 2019 in Budapest, Hungary. Altogether, we had 33 participants. The professional backgrounds of the participants were very diverse, including for example child psychiatry residents, PhD students in child psychiatry and psychology, pharmacists, and bio-engineers.
The seminar was led by internationally acknowledged international (Doron Gothelf, Gerry Dawson and Gil Zalsman) and Hungarian experts (Judit Balázs, Gyöngyi Kökönyei and Zsolt Unoka). During the meeting, several aspects of good presentations were discussed. Research methodological questions were also included, however, due to the general high level of methodological knowledge of the audience, the participants would have been open to hear more about this topic. All presentations of the foreign experts were very interesting to the participants, though some raised questions of cultural adaptability.
In summary, we can highlight that the participants were very enthusiastic and gave lot of positive feedbacks, including that they found this intensive weekend very useful for their future career.
