Advances in medications and medical devices: application of new drugs and technology in clinical settings
The Novel Therapies Symposium is a special symposium dedicated to clinical trials of new compounds, including proof of concept and post-marketing studies, using data from human trials, especially phase II and III trials. We strive for studies which have not yet been published as journal articles.
As of this year we will also provide the opportunity to submit studies using new medical devices, e.g. neurostimulation technologies.
How to submit
If you are interested in presenting your new medication or device at the 38th ECNP congress, please click on the application button below to upload the following details:
- A suggested speaker and back-up speaker (name, country, e-mail)
- A presentation title (max. 20 words)
- A summary explaining the content of the presentation (max. 250 words)
- A short motivation: why is it important that these findings are shared?
We accept submissions from both academia and industry.

Deadline
The submission deadline is 13 May 2025.
Review
All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) for acceptance, the outcome of the review will be communicated before 18 June 2025.
Further information
Selected speakers will receive:
- Approximately 15 minutes to present their research
- Reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs
